Malindi Dream Garden

Malindi Dream Garden is a place that I can recommend for any type of traveler. Well I've generally been an admirer of boutique hotels yet this four star hotel has an extraordinary place in my heart. The reception at the hotel is exceptionally inviting and I went in January and there was a sensible number of guests for the most part mostly foreigners and a couple of local tourists. The staff truly know how to deal with guests and treat them special.

First and foremost its situated on Silver Sands Shoreline at Casuarina Lane where majority of the hotels in Malindi are based. Believe me a lane brimming with hotels is extremely confusing in the event if you ever go without booking. This is because you will be spoilt for choice.

In the event that your contemplating in what manner will you get to Malindi don't stress I got your secured. There four alternatives on the technique for transport that you can utilize . Give me a chance to begin with the speediest method.
  • By flight is for sure the fastest way and from Malindi airport you can take a taxi , Tuk Tuk or motorbike to the hotel.Click here for more details
  • By car if you want a little privacy and from Mombasa it will take you one and a half hours to get to Malindi.
  • By bus mostly modern coast hence, you wont have to transit from Mombasa since it’s express. Click here for more details. The buses to Malindi depart from Nairobi at night.
  • By Sgr you can opt to take a morning train and by 2:00 pm you will be in Mombasa . If your familiar with Mombasa you can take a matatu to town which is 100 per person and then from there go to Bakazistan stage where you will take a matatu to Malindi . If your not familiar with Mombasa town you can take a taxi from the Mombasa Terminus station upto Bakazistan stage which will cost you  approximately 1500 shillings. A matatu to Malindi ranges from 300-350 for the shuttles.
From Malindi, Tuk Tuk and motorbikes are available. A motorbike to the hotel is 100 shillings.

I extremely cherished the basic design in the rooms and the way the room had a pool view. The breeze around evening time was extremely luring . Actually most of the times I'd get up at 4:00 am and just unwind at the balcony tuning in to the sound of the waves and watch the dazzling lights.
Much the same as some other hotels Malindi Dream Garden has the bed and breakfast choice , half board , full board and all inclusive . I was on a half board basis. The rooms are all around furnished with a scaled down bar , the room service is additionally on point , the washroom and the balcony improve things and the fan which makes the room exceptionally cool. Click here  for bookings, well I can't grumble much about the pricing since it's pretty much similar like different hotels around the area.

Beach boys
Well the hotel has a guard on the private shoreline henceforth, you will not be disturbed. However, be aware that they're beach boys and they are not rude but simply pleasant young fellows. For the most part they will disclose to you their stories of how they are selling curios so as to make ends meet. Some offer swimming activities but you are encouraged to book with your hotel or a tour company on the off chance that you want to take part in snorkeling activities.

Subsequently if your a philanthropic individual then you can simply go ahead and support them .If your not when your setting off to the public beach don't make an inclination of taking a gander at them simply overlook them and make the most of your chance at the shoreline . They will leave you alone eventually. However, the guards at Malindi Dream Garden do attempt their level best to ensure when your unwinding at the hotel's private beach no one will disturb you. When you go to the public beach you're all alone.

Restaurant and bar
I've generally been an explorer who truly inclines towards bed and breakfast or on occasion bed alone . At that point I pick to purchase sustenance from the restaurant's menu . This time round I selected to have a go at something other than what I am used to ! My recommendation dependably take a half board basis in the event that you do not want to spend much.
This is on the grounds that I don't know of other hotels but for Sandies and Malindi Dream Garden the half board plan is astonishing ! The food is worth  your money, the services and the well disposed management!Every time a waiter passes your table “Chakula Chema “ was the greeting .I’m sure we all love the humility that the coastal people usually display throughout their daily lives !

During my stay I opted to stick around the hotel since my mother and I wanted to simply relax.Throughout the day the hotel organizes various activities and there is also a hotel photographer so if you want to capture moments and you don’t want to disturb people or your partner ! Don’t worry.Consistently there is an activity at the hotel everyday.

My highlight is fundamentally on Friday and I'd advise you if your intending to go to Sandies Tropical Village or Malindi Dream Garden ensure Friday is on your plan! The culinary specialists truly plan such a significant number of rarities and the sustenance is displayed outside where you can feel the breeze and the waves ! It's just astounding and you can eat next to the pool. Below is a list of the activities;

  • Water aerobics
  • Tour excursions  ( but the price is not included in the hotel rate )
  • Beach parties at night
  • Volley ball
  • Traditional dances
  • Jogging at the beach
  • Gym and spa
  • Curio shop
  • Two outdoor pools
  • Private beach

Well thats it for Malindi Dream Gadern.
